Presented October 9, 2017
Summary: Cayuse is the web-based front end tool used by OSU for submission of proposals to Grants.gov and also allows submission to NSF through Research.gov as an alternative to Fastlane. All Grants.gov submissions are required to be entered through Cayuse. It allows proposals to be created, reviewed, approved and/or submitted to federal agencies. Cayuse runs reviews on the content that is uploaded and provides error messages if there are missing sections. Participants learned more about Cayuse and how a PI can use Cayuse to review the content of proposals before submission occurs.
In this 30 minute webinar, the presenters:
- Explained how to locate, log in, and create a proposal in Cayuse
- Shared about useful, time-saving functions in Cayuse
- Helped to identify common problems with proposal packaging and troubleshoot warnings and errors
