As research becomes more interdisciplinary, it is crucial that researchers are able to work effectively with investigators, colleagues, and others from other disciplines. “Team Science” is the study and application of principles and strategies to develop, lead, and manage groups of people as part of a research project/team. This series of online workshops will focus on preparing post-doctoral researchers to both participate in and lead interdisciplinary research teams. Participants will learn how to develop a team collaboration plan that can serve as a template for building systems in their future labs and for multi-PI and leadership plans for future grant proposal. The sessions will be a mix of short didactic and interactive activities, with the goal of increasing participants’ knowledge of and comfort with engaging in Interdisciplinary Research and Team Science.
