Presented December 1, 2016
This workshop was a deep-dive into the college’s main federal sponsors: Institute of Education Sciences (IES), NIH and NSF. The presentations were more than just a laundry list of funding opportunities – the presenters provided first-hand experiences from writing successful proposals and being on review panels. The presentations provided details on how programs are structured so that researchers know which strand or goal might be most appropriate for their research. Shayne Piasta talked about IES, Brian Focht talked about NIH, and Kim Lightle talked about NSF.
