ORIC recognizes that some sponsor funding levels limit the ability to include the required 20% of salary effort for one course release. This program provides up to 10% of a faculty member’s salary to incentivize tenure‐track and tenured faculty into submitting requests for proposals and still meet the standard full 20% of salary recovery for a one course release per year.
