Facilities in one way or another are required by all federal sponsors. For example, NSF requires a separate document that is labeled Facilities, Equipment and Other Resources; IES requires a resources section be part of the narrative. Regardless of where the information shows up in the proposal, the purpose of this section is to describe how you have both the institutional capacity to complete a project of this size and complexity and access to the resources you will need to successfully complete this project.
